Dear Friends,

The world is changing by the minute, isn’t it? Covid-19 has made sure of that.

Fortunately, because we are a destination shop in the country, our customers tend to visit in 1s and 2s. We appreciate you using the hand sanitizer as you walk in and we continue to clean and sanitize all hard surfaces on an ongoing basis.  We are providing “personal  phone shopping” and car-side service and are adding new items to our Etsy Shop  as quickly as possible.  We are currently finalizing plans for a modified, video-based First Saturday as well as planning some fun Quilting in the Country specials. We also continue to request that anyone who is feeling ill or may have been exposed to Covid-19 please postpone their visit until a later date.

In just these few weeks, we have learned just how fast we can change in response to a changing world!

Based on the current CDC recommendations, we feel  comfortable that, when you visit us, you and our staff are in as safe an environment as we can provide. To decrease risk even further, though, we are making some changes in our store hours.  Our goal is to remain available if you need supplies or if you need  to drop off or pick up a sewing machine repair.

Here is our current plan as of 3/18/20:

On Thursday, March 19th our shop will be closing at 5pm (rather than 8pm.)

Friday 3/20 we will be open 10-5 as usual.

Saturday 3/21 our shop will be open 10-330 as usual.

**Effective Sunday, March 22 and until further notice our hours will be as follows:

                Closed Sunday and Monday

                Open Tuesday-Saturday 10am-2pm.

If you have any questions, please don’t hesitate to call (847-683-4739) or email us (info@stitchingonstate.com). We will get back to you as quickly as possible.

Thank you for your continued support of our small business!  Please watch your emails, our website and Facebook for updates.

Stay well! We will get through this together.

Elaine, Mike and all of us at Stitching On State
